|
|
Hi,
If I'm not mistaken, rrd collect values and when we want to see graph, it calculate values and draw graph. So, rrd stores data about past date.
Most of network admin want to see detailed graphs about past dates. So, i think that using a query method, cacti will represent thesegraphs.
I mean, when I want to see daily traffic graph of an interface which belong to 1 month past. But i can see now. Is it possible now? If it is not is it possible for future versions? |

I would like to see this feature too.
There is a php script called MRTG total which has you enter and date range and which item you are querying. Then displays the information for that date range.
This would be very handy if cacti had this. |

| I would like ot see this feature too. Would like it to use real values and not average stuff down when it does it too. That way if I wanted to see a daily graph from Christmas day this year and compare it to the same day last year I would have all the accurate data. I understand this would probably increase the disk storage requirements but that is a fair trade off with disk space being so cheap. |

Hi,
this feature is like the zoom utility posted here int the board.
It would be nice to have this zoom possibility in the next cacti version.
The best would be if the new update install-function from 0.8.2a to 0.8.3 has a function to expand all rra files to fit in the new ones.
Greetings
