hi,

I thought I should share my scripts for monitoring our Powerware 9120 UPS. It's connected through a serial cable to a Windows 2003 server that has the Powerware MIB loaded. If you have an additional SNMP card on the UPS itself it *should* work just as well.

The "load" script monitors the load on the UPS in percent. The "voltages" script monitors input, output and battery voltages. I'll be posting graphs below as a sample output.

The scripts has only been tested on 0.8.6.b.

best regards,
Daniel Netz

Great script seems to work via powerware lansafe really well.

Quick question though is there a way I can restrict the minimum voltage shown on the graph so that I can restrict the graph to between 210 volts and 280 to make the voltage changes more visible in this range?

Thanks for this script and Cacti, damn good stuff

hi,

i'm glad you like it

you can change the upper and lower voltage limits under "Graph Templates", "Powerware - UPS Voltages" and the values "Upper Limit" and "Lower Limit".

hope it helps!

Cheers, thats sorted it out. I needed to remove the battery voltage as in the UPS im using that reports as 12v causing the graph to try and keep going lower but am only interested in the in/out voltages so works fine.
