I have implemented Rmon script recently and started monitor HP ProCurve 2824 Switch.
Now the issue I have that there is no figures found by Cacti Rmon, always show all counters at 0 while on the switch web console I getting alerts and in telnet session show rmon I see there is issues.
Any idea what could it be
Thanks in advanced.

Does the number of collisions increase with time?
cacti will graph differences between each polling cycle only (when using COUNTER as a data source type, which I assume. Verify this from the corresponding Data Template(Data Source)

Hi,
The numbers not increase with the time its coming more like a storm for short periods with interval of one to two days.
Is it should show history that occurrences period of short time collision, crc... burst or only the current status of each interface?

Split off redundant posts.
If those collisions will burst only, cacti will show this burst only (when using COUNTER type data source). So please make sure, that the interval seen by cacti spans the time this burst occured...

Hmm. I'd be interested to hear from you in a few days to hear, whether this really solved the problem.
