I made a simple template to graph the time it takes the poller to run. This is meant to run on your cacti host.
Edit linux_poller_time.pl for your database and put in <cacti path>/scripts/, then import the graph template xml file.

| Why not write your script in php so that people don't have to have the perl-DBD installed?

Got this installed on two systems now. Very easy, does exactly what it says on the tin.

Hi
you may want to install these templates, they allow to graph poller time, poller items, objects, etc.

I happen to prefer perl. 
Gandalf has a much better set of templates now anyway.
