I have a cablemodem and I think it might be compliant with 802.1d, but my device status keeps showing "down". I created a device type entry for it, but it didn't seem to help. For the OID I put .1.3.6.1.4.1.43%. And I tried get_generic_switch_ports, NotApplicable-Router and get_IOS_dto1dTpFdbEntry_ports for the functions.
I also have a Linksys router with dd-wrt v23SP1 firmware. It is basically Linux. Has anyone gotten a Linux router to work with this?
