Mine is 0.0.1b.

and I am getting the following error:

Also, there are no device types listed
I get output when I run php mactrack_scanner.php manually

I think I need to wipe mactrack and start again with a different version.

That requires the latest version of Cacti.

This is correct, the SVN version of MacTrack requires Cacti 0.8.6i, or requires you to take the files located in plugins/mactrack/patched_files and place them accordingly in the base directory of Cacti.
