A few items towards user administration that we would like to see built in to the next rev:
1. Currently you can allow/disallow a user access to trees or given graphs. Hosts which a user may not see are still present in the "Filter by host:" dialog. It would be nice if you could block those from the user's eyes if they cannot see the devices. In our case, we may have customers who do not need to see any other hosts listed but their own.
2. Can you set up some sort of check that if you say "base allowable graphs on Graph Trees" then you'd just have to select which trees a user can view to limit access to graphs? This could be on a system-wide or user-by user basis and may make it easier to set users up quickly.
3. It would be great if groups could be added. Then a new UserID could be provisioned and added to a given group resulting in their having graphis/tree permissions set up.
4. Graph tree creation is not a listed realm that you can assign a user. This would allow us to distribute responsibility to create graph trees. This permission could limit them to only trees they create or to all trees systemwide.

This has been addressed in 0.8.3.

I have thought about this a little, but I am not sure which way is best. As you may have noticed, I added host and graph template permissions to 0.8.3. If you deny a user to a host or graph template, they will not be able to see any graphs associated with the host/graph template. The reason I didn't change this for trees is that it didn't make as much organization sense in my eyes.

I am thinking about it.

This can definitely be added to the next version.
