Where do i install Cacti ?

I keep in mind some recommendations use about cacti.
Where do i install cacti on Linux architecture ? On the production server or a backup server who's for example ?

What 's the requirement about that with cacti ?

Cacti is not very specific about what kind of machine it needs to run on. 90% of the time you will install Cacti on a webserver since that is how you access it. Cacti also needs access to a MySQL server which does not necessarily have to be on the same host.
