Hi,
When we want to delete an unnecessary data source we can delete easily. So we choose that last choice:
"delete all graphs that reference to this data source" and we delete graphs and data source.
But, rra files blong to that data source still exist.
So,
Why don't we delete Data source, graphs and rra files at the same time? |

I have another idea about this subject.
We have used rra files table. Also we have used data sources table. Why don't u calculate that unused rra files and why dont'u show this result in tabular format?
So that we can easily see unused rra files and delete them. Thus, our disks are used more efficiently. |

This has definitely crossed my mind more than once. The thing about features like this is that they require the web server user to have write access to Cacti's 'rra/' directory for it to work on demand. The other feature that sort of requires this is direct .rrd manipulations (ie. rrdtool tune).
Implimenting a transactions log for cmd.php/cactid to process is one solution to this. I am not sure which way I want to do it though.
