|
|
I just installed the mactrack plugin, v0.0.1b (from cactiusers.org) into cacti v0.8.6i.
When run through the scheduled settings, mactrack does not update the database correctly. doing a "select * from mac_track_ips" returns 0 rows.
Ran mactrac via command line, via "php5 /srv/www/htdocs/cacti/plugins/mactrack/mactrack_scanner.php -id=1 -d", and it correctly inserts values into the mac_track_ips table. However, I still cannot view these results under mactrack->mac/ip report. If i do mactrack->device report, it shows the correct number of ip's.
No errors in the log file, debug mode.
Am I missing something? Is there an updated version (i'm not running a svn copy of cacti, and copying the patched_files didn't work)
Any help is appreciated!

Ok so I got some basic functionality working but I'm still not getting all of the IP/Mac associations to display.
As you can see by the images, each device clearly has a bunch of IP's with the associated macs but they are not displaying in the MAC/IP report.
Any thoughts?

I am working on v1.0 of MacTrack and would like to address your problem now.
I would like to research this with you online if you can spare some cycles. It will have to be in the evening hours EDT (Detroit, MI) though. What do you think?
