Hi,
Thank you for your help.
I have 2 Cacti servers, 1 Cacti server is in production, and 1 Cacti server for testing so this will apply to new rrd files.
Quote:
Daily (5 Minute Average)
Weekly (5 Minute Average)
Monthly (5 Minute Average)
Is the Yearly (1 day Average) or Yearly(5 Minute Average) ?
I will change RRA per your instruction, let it run for few days and I will let you know.
Attached is the graph from last month, if you look at the graph Daily (5 Minute Average), you can see one of the day in that month the network is down from 9 pm to 6 am, do you know how to calculating the % uptime when you look at the graph.
Please help.
Thanks...David

Yearly: for the first month, resolution will be 5 min. For the second month, resolution will be 2 hours (the 3rd rra holds consolidated 2h averages for 775 data points, so it covers appr. 2 months). All other data will be 1d averages.

Hello,
I was reading alot on this subject and I am not really sure of the solution maybe you can give me a clear final answer, in order to achieve a Monthly 95th percentile 5 minute average graph is it enough to resize(for existing rrd's) or modify the RRA for 5 minute definition to read Daily (5 Minute Average)] 1 - 11000 - 86400 ?
Thank You !
