| if you cannot find a deb package for rrdtool-php then you will need to compile it by hand |

Hi
New to all of this. I've found the install instructions for php_binding, but can't work out what my <php root> path is. Any ideas on the default install location on RHEL4?? |

Hi!
Nice plugin.
I was wondering, what do i have to do to expand the list for
types of data source (only 6 now: CPU, Network Interfaces...), for example, if i wanted reports for RAM usage? Was looking at the cc_templates.php and mysql tables that reportit uses, but i cant figure out how to specify which rrds the plugin chooses for reports.
Thanks |

Hi
Does anyone know if it's possible to produce an availability report through this plugin? |

At the moment it isn't possible. I know that this is an issue.
Yesterday I've gotten my diploma , so I'll start coding again. But for the first time I'm working on an implementation of two other ways to connect to RRDtool. Then the final release of reportit V0.3 will has been completed.
After that a new set-up of report templates will follow in V0.4, but I've the same problems as the others plugin developers (Job, wife and children). So give me a while.
Best regards

And it must be mentioned that his "reportit" plugin was graded with 1.1 from the university of applied sciences in Cologne.
Keep it up, Andreas (BrownieBraun)

I like the looks of this tool. This is exactly what i was and am looking for.
My problem is that i am trying to implement this tool on a gentoo based server.
Sadly gentoo has no implementation of the RRDtool PHP-bindings in its portage tree and I cannot find a way to implement this.. All i could find was a RPM package containing the files for suse.. The RPM carries patches which i find to risky to implement on a different distro..
Where can i find the php-bindings for rrdtool ? |

You 'll have to compile it manually.
http://forums.cacti.net/download.php?id=7767
During the next days I'll upload the final release of reportit V0.3.
It supports the php-bindings as well as the classic way. The third way to fetch the data via RRDtool server works too, but it's only experimental.
So, reportit V0.3 supports Windows, but it isn't so fast like using php-bindings under Unix/Linux.
The new concept of an template configurator has been defined. So, I'm working on it (V0.4).
Best regards

I put them all together under Plugin Announcements.
The current version is 0.3.0 (released 02/13/07) and supports linux and windows.
Best regards
