Please see my attachment. Is this a firefox issue, or another issue? I don't see a default map to add stuff to?

| Try renaming your map from 'test' to 'test.conf'.

| same effect - even if I copy the example files into the folder and seect that map, I get the same thing.

Even so, you should get a blank white map...
It's almost certainly not Firefox, since I do most of my testing with FF.
I think this is a gd-related issue, although I would expect to see an error message in that situation too. What happens if you copy the example.conf into your configs folder and try to edit that? If it's the same, then you need to look at whether GD is loaded for your mod_php - usually this is in your php.ini. You *might* need to download/install an additional RPM on some systems (e.g. php-gd). The situation is different for different OS, unfortunately.
