Hello everybody,
I'm running weathermap 0.91 with plugarch v1.1 on cacti 0.8.6i on Debian.
I try to get the editor working since some hours but no way...
When I add a node on a new conf file, or when I open an existing conf file (like example.conf or simple.conf), the editor display a "The page cannot be displayed" HTML page :/
If I delete the node part in the conf file it's OK, but as soon as I add them again, I get the same error.
I runned check.php in both apache2 and cli php side and all is OK (memory_limit of 256M).
When I run weathermap in debug mode, I get this result (which I don't understand):

Is it possible you have somehow got two "extension=gd.so" lines somehow? Remember they may not be in the same file... (check in check.php output for which .ini files are being read).
Also, you need PEAR, and the PEAR Console_Getopt module installed. If you install PEAR, I believe it comes with that module though. You only need PEAR to use the command-line weathermap tool. For normal cacti-plugin use, don't worry about it. |

FINALLY, as a third problem. This sounds like the same GD bug mentioned in the FAQ - this seems to be common on Debian. See this post: http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?p=98806#98806 |

Yes it was the Debian GD Library the problem, it's now fixed, many thanks!
So, as I use the cacti plugin, i don't have to install the PEAR module, right?
And I uncommented "extension=gd.so" in both PHP & Apache php.ini files, but this line is present only once in each. It's OK no?

Yes. It's used to help the command-line weathermap take options (like --debug).

Well, see if it works, I guess. The errors you had there looked like it was defined twice somehow, but if it works OK, then it is OK  |
