does 0.9.0beta play nice ?
Is it suitable to put onto the same server as 0.8.6x (different directory) or are the sql tables to close/clash ?
Also i've wandering through what i believe is 0.9 (http://svn.cacti.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/trunk/cacti/) and i can't see what might be installation instructions for it? is it automatic installation now. for 0.8 there instructions on setting up mysql tables and such ?
TIA
H

0.9.0 is very, well, broken and under heavy development.
There is currently no path for upgrade from 0.8.6 database to 0.9.0 database. Don't fret, there will be before it is officially released to beta. The databases are significantly different between the version and are not compatible.
0.9.0 will not even run the poller or let you create graphs right now. |

Thanks,
I'll leave it be. I wasn't concerned about upgrading. I was going to look at it.
It seems that 0.9 is very different to 0.8, so i wasn't going to bother with 0.8 any more until 0.9 comes out.

I would bother with 0.8.6i..
0.9.0 is slow development. |
