Ok I've followed the install instructions to a T and I can not open a map in the editor. I can create a new file and I see the normal white screen with the time stamp but as soon as I add a node I get a "page cannot be found error"
Before I had 0.82 running on this ubuntu box and it ran just fine, ever since I upgraded to 0.92 I've had issues...
Any thoughts?

I'm pretty sure you are suffering from this problem. It's a bug in the version of GD that Debian and it's derivatives (like Ubuntu) use. You need to upgrade to the latest GD (2.0.34). You might need to get this from the 'unstable' or 'testing' branch (I don't know how Ubuntu structures this stuff). |
