Hi,
is it possible to parse the content of the ifIndex-fields in a modified interface.mxl?

I want to do a data query, which delivers only the interfaces of a certain switch module. The first number of ifIndex contains the slot number of my N7 switches, so I need to parse them. Any ideas?

(I know I can select different interfaces when creating graphs, but the final goal is a different subgroup for every switch slot in the final graph tree.)

I found a workaround by changing the Graph Grouping Style of the device in the Tree Settings from "Graph Template" to "Data Query Index".

Please search Scripts and Templates for Enterasys N7. There's at least one thread
