Hello all,
I've been bugged by something that's a pretty petty issue. I have a new device I setup in Cacti. When I discover the device using the SNMP query I setup I get just integers returned, not their 'text values'. For instance, if I was having the same problem with the interface SNMP queries if I discovered a device the OpStatus would be returning just 1s or 2s instead of 'Ups' and 'Downs'. When I manually walk the device, nothing special as I would with any device, I get all of the textual values I would expect, so I don't think it's a MIB issue. Everything still works, it's just cryptic to see a columns of numbers instead of their more meaningful text descriptions. I haven't had this issue with anything else, but I imagine it's something stupid. I hope someone's seen this before and has a solution. It's just one to those stupid little things that bugs ya to no end because it should be working...
Thanks! Znapel |
