Hi All
Sorry if this post has already appeared elsewhere.
Basically I using Cacti to graph a large amount of devices including Cisco switches. Each port on the switch is labeled indicating which customer it is connected too. When you create the "Create Graphs for the host" the port title is shown in the Alias (IF-MIB) column, I am looking for a easy way for this information to be displayed in the Graph title without changing each graphs template.
At the moment I have
switch1.cust - Traffic - Gi0/22
However I would like something like
switch1.cust - Traffic - Gi0/22 - Joe Bloggs
Joes Bloggs being taken from the Alias (IF-MIB) information for port Gi0/22 on switch1
Thank you for your help
Kind Regards
Steve |

Indeed, this was answered already on a quite regular basis, but is somewhat hidden within Cacti
To change your title selection preferences, please visit Data Queries. Select the Traffic one. Then select the Graph Template you're using to find the "Suggested ..." section with different rules for creating titles and names.
Now, please change the sequence to make the best fitting one the topmost entry. This will apply to ALL subsequently generated graphs of this kind.
To apply this change, visit Graph Management and select all Graphs that you want to change. Then select "Reapply Suggested Names"
