This will not happen this year.
Due to the huge changes, we will require a good deal of beta testing.

As grazog, I'm very interested in the future version of Cacti 0.8.8 reading the roadmap.

Is there any date for the beta release ?

Can be your guy if you need dome testing and bug reports :D

We all over estimated our available time...

Some of us got new jobs.

So, we have had some delays.

But nevertheless, volunteers for testing are always welcomed.
Please give us some hints about the platform in use at your site (OS, version levels of everything)

Also to clarify, is the distributed polling in 0.8.8?

Thanks for any info/input.

Hy Gandalf,

I candidate myself as volunteer and betatesting. My platform is on Solaris10.x installed on a virtual machine on my production site. I'm moving from "remstats" tool (used at least for four year by now) to Cacti.

The CACTI version I used is the latest with all patch installed.
