Hello rony,

I've tested the "new" scrip_server.php (6358), now I've this error (with cacti poller template) :

04/08/2011 10:50:02 PM - PHPSVR: Poller[0] WARNING: Function does not exist INC: 'ss_poller.php' FUNC: '' PARMS: ''

Perhaps gandalf can help us on it ?

This is a known issue with some of the new tweaks of script_server.
I'd like to have it reverted to accept not passing a parm to script_server.
Changing the Data Input Methods to pass a dummy parameter makes it work again.
R.

I fail....

I have 2 tasks to complete on the Cacti Beta.

1. Fix an issue with templates (50%) complete)
2. Fix an issue with Bandwidth Summation (50% complete)

I have to find time to work on these. I'm under the gun for a deadline at work and have been working an abnormal amount of hours. Unfortunately, I program for a living, so going home and programming can be a challenge. :(

Sorry, bear with me, I will get it done. :)

Constantly tried to increase PHP limits, but still, install unsuccessfully, here is couple errors that I got, each time, tried fresh cacti/install:
Code:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 536870912 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 20 bytes) in /usr/local/www/apache22/data/cactiBeta/lib/database.php on line 178
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 603979776 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 261900 bytes) in /usr/local/www/apache22/data/cactiBeta/lib/adodb/adodb.inc.php on line 833
Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 60 seconds exceeded in /usr/local/www/apache22/data/cactiBeta/lib/database.php on line 178
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 1073741824 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 68 bytes) in /usr/local/www/apache22/data/cactiBeta/lib/database.php on line 178
Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 120 seconds exceeded in /usr/local/www/apache22/data/cactiBeta/lib/database.php on line 178
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 1587544064 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 261900 bytes) in /usr/local/www/apache22/data/cactiBeta/lib/adodb/adodb.inc.php on line 833

So, the last try was script time 240 secs, and 1,5g memory for scripts.

There's obviously serious problems, or I'm missing some pre-configuration steps...

Btw, unlimited (-1) storage, throws out:
Code:
Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated -2012741632) (tried to allocate 261900 bytes) in /usr/local/www/apache22/data/cactiBeta/lib/adodb/adodb.inc.php on line 833

@Deele:

Though I'm not sure in detail,
are you using Suhosin?

...

... BTW, did you import 'cacti.sql' ?

 my bad, I forgot about cacti.sql. I hope, next Cacti version will do that automatically.
