There will be no rrdtool 1.3 support? (https://lists.oetiker.ch/pipermail/rrd- ... 14176.html lists main features)

1.2 seems no longer maintained.

If there will be no 1.3 then cacti should at least warn if it finds unsupported version.

Edit: hmm, now I found this in changelog: "-feature: Fix compatibility issues for RRDTool 1.3" and svn r4584.

Nice :>

Edit2:

There seem to be bug in rrdtool 1.3 handling. For example on graphs I have "total in" or "total out" as 0 instead of some real value (while with rrdtool 1.2 the total values are shown correctly).

This is on cacti 0.8.7b with backported rev 4584.

Please visit the failing graph, switch to debug and post the resulting rrdtool command for verification

I'm not sure to understand your last mail. Both were using the same binaries, but different cacti settings? Or did you use different binaries but at the same location?

I've installed rrdtool 1.2, set 1.2 in cacti settings, did a test.

Uninstalled 1.2, installed 1.3, set 1.3 in settings, retest.

Both rrdtools were installed as /usr/bin/rrdtool.

For 1.3 cacti displays 0 bytes as total.

Please create a bug report at bugs.cacti.net. Please attach as much information as you can. Rony will have to address this. Please post another note here once you have created the bug in Mantis.

SYSTEM WARNING: session_destroy() [function.session-destroy]: Trying to destroy uninitialized session

SYSTEM WARNING: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /var/www/bugs.querx.com/core/error_api.php:166)

and probably due to that "password reset" function nor activate an account doesn't work on bugs.cacti.net.

"APPLICATION ERROR #2800"

Try again, you have to first create an account.

Why new account? I already have an account, just not confirmed yet (due to these bugs).

Anyway I use remind password, I get email with url, go to that url and:

Quote:

SYSTEM WARNING: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /var/www/bugs.querx.com/core/error_api.php:166)

Your account information has been verified. The account confirmation message you have received is now invalid.
You must set a password here to allow you to log in again.

I enter new password, click accept and:

Quote:
APPLICATION ERROR #2800

Invalid form security token. Did you submit the form twice by accident?

Change php.ini to contain output_buffering = 4096 and error should go away btw.

This is something else related to sessions. I have to check the apache error log, but I don't have root, and I think this may be prevented. Have to discuss with Rony.

" Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by" is where php probably tries to set cookie with session info. output_buffering should workaround that.

Waiting anyway.
