Thanks for the update. I installed it but still not getting any data on Cacti 0.8.8b.

The devices lists shows its down. Though when I go into the device I see the basic SNMP data returned. Doing a verbose query also returns a ton of data. So not sure why my upgrade to 0.8.8b broke this. I had a much older version of Cacti that worked fine but needed the upgrade to install the plugin management, threshold and email capabilities.

I followed the installation instructions, and imported the template. When I try to add the devices, I get SNMP error, and nothing is graphed. I know I have SNMP enabled on the WLC's and have the version and community/port set correctly. What else am I missing?

Hi,
thank you pretty much for this awesome template.

I had trouble with the Radio data query, because my snmpwalk returns "iso." instead of "1." at the beginning of the OIDs, I've changed the following function on Cisco_WLC_Radios.php:

Code:
function ss_host_radios_reindex($arr) {
        $return_arr = array();

        /* 12-aug-2011 Licio tolto dall'OID MIB il 0. finale */

        for ($i=0;($i<sizeof($arr));$i++) {
                $return_arr[$i] = preg_replace("/(.*.3.6.1.4.1.14179.2.2.13.1.1.)/", "", $arr[$i]["oid"]);
        }
        return $return_arr;
}

Just the regex to match both cases, now seems to work fine.

Kind regards.

I have the current Debian Wheezy (7) up and running but I am stuck with all values that are relying on the "Cisco_WLC_Radios.php" Script.
Debian is using Version:
php: 5.4.41-0+deb7u1
cacti: 0.8.8a-1
spine: 0.8.8a-1

In "cacti.log" there are many entries with very log oid.

Code:

Within the code it seems that the php "explode()" funktion does not seem to work.
Code:

No graphs are created but I guess its because of the not working php script so no data is there.

I did the standard troubleshooting things...
http://docs.cacti.net/manual:087:4_help.2_debugging#debugging

Any hint is welcome!

now I put the command from data source debugging into the shell.
The rrd got finally created but with -nul values.

Code:
/usr/bin/rrdtool create \
/var/lib/cacti/rra/wlan_controller_wlc_2500_bsnapifloadchannelu_3188.rrd \
--step 300  \
DS:bsnAPIfLoadChannelU:GAUGE:600:0:100 \
RRA:AVERAGE:0.5:1:600 \
RRA:AVERAGE:0.5:6:700 \
RRA:AVERAGE:0.5:24:775 \
RRA:AVERAGE:0.5:288:797 \
RRA:MAX:0.5:1:600 \
RRA:MAX:0.5:6:700 \
RRA:MAX:0.5:24:775 \
RRA:MAX:0.5:288:797 \

Another issue. I cannot use snmp v3. I have to use v2. When using v3 I get no data / graphs at all although in the shell I can snmpwalk with v3 against the device successfully.

From the mysql cli I fired the sql command to check size of poller_output table as suggested in the debugging howto from gandalf
(http://docs.cacti.net/manual:087:4_help.2_debugging#check_rrdtool_graph_statement)
***
Miscellaneous
Up to cacti 0.8.6j, table poller_output may increase beyond reasonable size.
This is commonly due to php.ini's memory settings of 8MB default. Change this to at least 64 MB.
To check this, please run following sql from mysql cli (or phpmyadmin or the like)
select count(*) from poller_output;
***
Code:
mysql> select count(*) from poller_output;
+----------+
| count(*) |
+----------+
|        0 |
+----------+
1 row in set (0.00 sec)

I am a little bit alienated because I expected a lot of data.

Hi Dien, which version are you using and did you change something?
What snmp version are you using?

Have of the graphs are not working for me.

Thx
Markus

Bringing some improvement (hopefully).
Those of you who encounter the "iso" or "enterprises" strings in your WLC responses and have issues getting some graphs to work because that, I made a little adjustment to the regex (that's supposed to remove parts of those responses) to cover these 2 additional possibilities.

In Cisco_WLC_Radios.php at line 198:
change
Code:
      $return_arr[$i] = preg_replace("/(1.3.6.1.4.1.14179.2.2.13.1.1.)/", "", $arr[$i]["oid"]);
to
Code:
      $return_arr[$i] = preg_replace("/((?:(?:1|iso)\.3\.6\.1\.4\.1|enterprises)\.14179\.2\.2\.13\.1\.1\.)/", "", $arr[$i]["oid"]);

This works well for me with Cacti 0.8.8f and WLC 2504 with firmware 7.4.140.0

Hello!

I cant create any graphics Cisco WLC Radios.
When I look in "Create Graphs for this Host" i see all is OK (Index, Name, MAC, Ethernet MAC, Model, Serial No, Slot ID, Channel is right), however when I try create any graphics (Client for example) I get
Created graph: wlcname - Clients - |query_bsnAPRadioParentName| Slot |query_bsnAPRadioIfSlotId|
And in "Graph List" I see
RRDTool Command:

RRDTool Says:
ERROR: opening '/var/www/html/cacti/rra/wlcname_bsnapradioclients_11331.rrd': No such file or directory

How I can fix it?

P.S. Sorry for my bad English... :(

Hi:

We use template to graph the users assoc for each AP. We have 2 controllers, one with 2500 clients and the other with 5000 clients.

Graphs is working fine for the controller with 2500 clients. But with the other controller, we receive these log "SPINE: Poller[0] ERROR: Spine Timed Out While Processing Hosts Internal".

I think that's because the line
Code:
$stations = snmp_walk($hostname, $snmp_community, $bsnMobileStationAPMacAddr, $snmp_version, $config["cacti_version"]);
in "Cisco_WLC_APs_Assoc.php" took too much time due the amount of clients we have. Poller and cron are in 5 minutes.

Any suggestion about that?

Another question... Does it possible to modify "Cisco_WLC_APs_Assoc.php" to use the SNMP object "bsnAPIfLoadNumOfClients" (1.3.6.1.4.1.14179.2.2.13.1.4) to graph the number of clients attached to this Airespace AP. (I don't know nothing about php codes :oops: )

P.S. Sorry for my bad English... :(

Upgraded to 1.0.4. There is a ton of noise in the cacti.log from this. Will it be updated? This thing scrolls by remarkablly fast if you tail the log. The log grows, even when rotated for today at 1:34 PM EST its size is 1976220727 so far.
