Peace, I upgraded from 0.8.8e and now the plugins don't show in the plugin management. I have two plugins, realtime graph and rrdtool cleaner. plugin management check is enabled in the user. i tried to change the permissions on the plugin folder to cactiuser and root. i tried repairing the database: it says,
Code:
NOTE: Checking for Invalid Cacti Templates
NOTE: 11 Invalid Data Input Data Rows based upon template mappings found in Data Templates

WARNING: Cacti Template Problems found in your Database.  Using the '--force' option will remove
the invalid records.  However, these changes can be catastrophic to existing data sources.  Therefore, you
should contact your support organization prior to proceeding with that repair.

also not all items appear in the black theme until you click some items.

What is the problem?

From the 1.0 Changelog.

feature: Merge CLog Plugin - View Cacti logs
feature: Merge Discovery Plugin - Device discovery
feature: Merge Domains Plugin - Support for domain (ADS/LDAP) specific user templates
feature: Merge DSStats Plugin - Cache Data Source values for easy retrieval
feature: Merge Logrotate Plugin - Rotate Cacti logs

Those plugins will no longer show up because they are now integrated into the Core of Cacti. You are free to delete the old directories as they are no longer needed (and are ignored by Cacti).

Thanks, I noticed that there is a realtime button for graphs but it isn't working. It just shows a rotating circle. Shouldn't it pop up a window like before?
I thought it was a bug that the plugin installed incorrectly.
Anything to try?

No it doesn't pop up a window anymore. Now it does the realtime graph in place of the old one. You may want to check your Cacti log, most likely it can't write to the cache directory.

Cacti log shows irrelevant information and the cache directory has 775 permissions. it was owned by nagios nagios, i changed the owner to cactiuser and then root but still waiting. anything else to try? and I want them to popup to move them to the second screen for monitoring!

In settings under the "visual" tab do you have a green check mark????

That's where you specify the directory.

My permissions for that directory is drwxrwxr-x

Thank you for your input.
the directory was /var/www/localhost/htdocs/cacti/rcache with an x beside it since there is no such folder.
i changed it to /var/www/localhost/htdocs/cacti/cache/realtime and a green check appeared after saving. the folder contained 2 files which got deleted for some reason.
the directory permission are:
drwxrwxr-x 2 cactiuser nagios 4096 Mar 9 16:50 realtime
we are getting closer to solving the problem but there is still no realtime graphing.
any more clues?

I solved the problem by
chown cactiuser:apache /var/www/localhost/htdocs/cacti/ and all the folders and files inside also.
but there needs to be an option for it to popup because opening it in a new window takes too much space.
