Hello,
I have a problem that I can't find the issue.
I create one test server, then when it was running correctly, I clone it to have one production and still keep my test server; the name and ip where change.

Now I have the 2 servers who is running with the same config, 4vcpu, 8Gb or ram, same disk type, size, same DB config, same PHP, but the spine process are totally different.
I optimize the DB (based on what I fond on big installation) but still I can't find why I have so much time difference.

Any clue where I should look ? (OS, cacti, other)

Thanks in advance.

What are the 30 additional resources that prod has which are not in the test system?

switch behind a firewall.

But the problem come even when I had 100 hosts less in the production system.

I need to find this 30 hosts, but I doubt that is the problem!

Both run their polling at the very same time on the same target systems ? If it's a 5 minute polling, then try to change the polling time to differ from each other ( e.g. one at 00,05,10,15... the other one at 02,07,13,...

Maybe some devices only allow one SNMP connection ...

Are both on the very same physical host and use the very same physical storage ?

Polling is mostly in 1 minute. I will try to stop polling on the test server to see if it's related

and Yes same physical server, and same virtual disk

Now that you talk about disk I just check on the vSphere client and there is a big difference on the kb/s
on the production one I have
Write access average between 1130 to 6831 KB/s
Read access average between 0 to 23KB/s

on the test server
Write access average between 1607 to 5617 KB/s
Read access average between 0 to 57KB/s

Close enough
