AMCC/3ware RAID Controller templates
Created by BSOD2600

*History*
1.0: Initial release

*Requirements*
- AMCC SNMP Addon installed and functional. Manually snmpwalk .1.3.6.1.4.1.1458.100.20.1 to verify.

*Installation*
1. Import the \templates
2. Copy over the \resources\snmp_queries\ scripts
3. Add the AMCC - Controller & AMCC - Drive data queries to a device.
4. Create graphs for the host.

Note: Currently the AMCC SNMP agent only supports reporting OutstandingIO. Eventually, they claim it'll report IOsPerSecond & KiloPerSecond.

yes, converted rpm to deb with alien and installed

Code:
root@brobocop:~# snmpwalk -v2c .1.3.6.1.4.1.1458
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.1458 = No Such Object available on this agent at this OID

deb added the following line in my snmpd.conf file:

Code:
dlmod amccRaidMIB /usr/lib/amcc9000RaidSnmp/1.00.00.008B/amccRaidMIB.so

it also installed AMCC-RAID-MIB.txt in the mibs directory. as well I exported MIBS=+AMCC-RAID-MIB, i have enabled the 3x_9xxx module.

I have a 9650se

not sure where to go from here

Either consult the 3ware linux snmp install guide or open a support ticket. Your issues lay with the snmp agent, not this template.

Short thing to try:

ldd /usr/lib/amcc9000RaidSnmp/1.00.00.008B/amccRaidMIB.so[

See if you have anything like the following...
libnetsnmpagent.so.10 => not found

That would cause it to fail entirely.
