foundry bigiron templates (various)

#1 Post by noskill » Sun Jan 15, 2006 7:46 am

I ported a couple of my APC rPDU templates to this, so it's nothing magical. Total time: about an hour, needed to research the OID's for everything. :)

Graphs: Chassis Temp, CPU usage (fire effect) and memory usage.

Credits: The people who originally wrote the graph template for the "Cisco CPU Fire effect" and the person who wrote the memory graph template for Cisco memory.

Hi, I created a similar graph, but I found out this week that it misses the 1s and 60s readings. We had a spanning tree issue which threw the CPU to 100%, but it never showed up on the 5min reading in the graphs.

Its on my to-do list to add the 1s and 60s, but thought you should know.

CPU usage graph

#4 Post by pirapp » Wed May 16, 2007 7:21 pm

Hi. Please help with this.
I have a FastIron (FESX424) and I downloaded and installed this template a few days ago. I know that it was made for a BigIron, but it works, well except the CPU usage graph.
It only marks that the CPU it is at the 1 percent, and doesn't move from there. I wonder if I have to make some changes or to modify some parameters to make it works.
Well, thanks for any tip or help you can give me.

you ever find a solution to this? i just loaded this template and the cpu graphs show 1. i even did an snmpget on the oid in this template and get a result of 1. maybe the oid is wrong?

FESX424 acctually has 1% of CPU when in normal operating mode. I created a loop and then the cpu graph was 100%
