DELL PowerEdge 1750 - Fan Speed

#1 Post by tino » Thu Mar 16, 2006 5:08 pm

This is a fan speed template for the seven fan probes on a DELL PowerEdge 1750.

Remember; other DELL PowerEdge models might have more or less fan probes, and the description of these might differ.

I will be adding the same template for a DELL PowerEdge 2450, 2550 and 2650.

This is the second time I created something like this, and it could be very well that something is missing or something. If so, feel free to contact me.

I have a 1750 I tried to monitor the fan speed on but an snmpwalk shows the oid for it doesn't exist, is there something else I need to monitor this? Using linux.

Yes, you can download this software from the DELL Website.
No, it will not update the BIOS.
