I wrote a standalone perl script that runs against the rrd
directory and emails an alert of all ports that are above a certain
bandwidth (85Mb) that are above a certain percentage of the port speed (85%)
My goal was to get the saturated 100Mb ports and ignore the gigabit ports bellow 850Mb.

It scans our 3000 ports in 30 seconds or so (on a dual PIII 900Mhz)

Anyway, I figured it would be useful, so wanted to post it
(I wonder if this is all done by the threshold plugin?)

Anyway, if there is interest I can clean up the script to make it more generally usable, but I am happy with the notifications now.
