Hi,

I used http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?t ... sc&start=0 for a long time with 0.8.6. With 0.8.7 it does not work anymore as it used to. I still get correct values and the graph is also fine but the status turned to "Success [0 Items, 0 Rows]" and a verbose query gives:

+ Running data query [18].
+ Found type = '3' [snmp query].
+ Found data query XML file at '/var/www/var/www/cacti/resource/snmp_queries/bind9-stats-snmp.xml'
+ XML file parsed ok.
+ Executing SNMP walk for list of indexes @ '.1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.55.1'
+ No SNMP data returned

Also note the |query_bindName| at the top of the graph.

I read the whole thread but did not find a solution. Is there one?

Thanks, Helmut

Please try to find ./lib/snmp.php. Serach for the string "Cr50" and change to "Cr1" and retry. This will change the maximum OID per get request from 50 to 1. Perhaps that helps

When debugging as given by the second link of my signature, what does the log show?

1780 ist the bind query.

The next steps are probably without interest as the graph itself is fine.

Oh, that's bad, that is.
May you please switch to SNMP V1 for a single test? Re-Index the Data Query running SNMP V1 and tell us, if things have changed. If not, please file a bug as given by http://www.cacti.net/bugs.php
Reinhard
