I've installed it on a machine already loaded with CactiEZ (Linux). I created a /home/assp folder and moved the unzipped files into that. Also created a user called assp. My configuration looks like this: Incoming Mail: Internet --->NAT---->port 25 ASSP/Cacti---->port 25 Exchange Outgoing Mail: Exch...

pgus, ASSP is listening on TCP port 55555. It looks like you were probably hitting the default port 80? $starturl = 'http://'.$username.':'.$passwd.'@'. $ipaddress.': 55555/ infostats'; Also I think you have to specify the full path to perl in "setup". If you're not getting any stats using a browser...

Normally it works great. I got one initially to have something small to test with on my desk. Had to upgrade the BIOS to load FC5 on one once, but it would boot off a Knoppix CD with no problem. I have one at home that I run Squid with adzapper & Cacti. I put another one together for my wife & it's ...

Reloaded the laptop and it hasn't locked up (no updates). Also loaded the new beta CactiEZ on the little EPIA VIA M10000 and it seems to be working fine even though it's the same kernel & logrotate versions that I blamed for the lockups. One more box to do sometime this week if I get a chance and ho...

The Cacti Manual Chapter 4 has upgrade instructions. It should be in your current installation under the ../doc/html/ directory If you're running CactiEZ, the paths will be slightly different. There's few notes in this posting for ugrading CactiEZ, although there is a new version out you may want to...

This might help: http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?t=15136 You can use rrdtool to check the rra file for readings or missing readings. Maybe run debug & check the logs to see if the readings are missing in the log as well. Don't forget to turn off debug or the cacti log file will get very large ...

The original CactiEZ install worked great. But yum update has introduced some issues. logrotate-3.7.1-6.RHEL4.i386.rpm should fix the logrotate problem. A yum updated logrotate was using /tmp for the temporary scripts. This directory shouldn't have executable permisions for security reasons. My unde...

It's working now! Thanks for everyone's help. I upgraded cactid but didn't make a difference, also upgraded to 0.8.6i (like the enhancements to view the log!) Strangely enough, I modified the script as posted in another topic. The last line in the script was: print "smtpcon:$smtpcon totmess:$totmess...

Cooper76,

Hey that's great!

Are you using the original asspstats.pl script or did you modify it?

Script and Script Server Timeout Value - getting :U

CactiEZ (CENTOS) Cacti 0.8.6h Perl 5.8.5 Script asspstats.pl Script results may take several seconds to return. Log file indicates :U result in 7 seconds even after I change the timeout value to 70 seconds and increase the threads to 2. Am I missing another setting or need to change something else? ...
