Topic: Graph Export works only for hosts?

Don't want to be a pain, just wondered if there was any progress on this. Though even with the bug, I've got 40-some hosts graphing away at work now, and love it (just can't show it all off to others in the department without giving them a login).

Thanks!

Click on "Graph Management" and then just underneath it you should see "CDEFs"; the 'add' link is in the upper right of that page like usual for those pages.

You've got the right idea; you probably used that CDEF in the "GPRINT" lines in your graph or graph template to get the numbers to display. Now edit the "LINE2" lines, which actually draw the lines on the graph, and select that same CDEF for them and your graphs will have the right numbers.

The bugs around the graph export are still being worked out - The Witness is on the trail of the problem, but I would guess hasn't had time to finish it up yet (nor have I had any time to try debugging on my own to help out). What you're seeing with that different graph_export.php file is exactly wh...

I just did this yesterday, and this approach worked: Set all default permissions to ALLOW, except the tree permissions - set to DENY (make sure there's no other templates, hosts or graphs listed in the other permissions). Then add the tree you want the user to access to the tree permissions. The way...

I don't know for sure, but the web page could be reporting the current number of sessions open, while the SNMP report could be the total sessions that have been opened since the firewall was last rebooted. The way to tell is if the value returned is of type counter32, or integer32 (or something like...

Ahh, those were the quotes around the policy name. Just thought it looked cleaner in the templates and such - but something must've translated them into those characters in the process of downloading the XML from cacti here. I did note that of the two graphs I've created so far, one exports fine and...

Re: Help..Netscreen Policy Stats

I have 2 netscreen firewalls which run VPN tunnels. When i run the data query on one of the NS it only shows me one policy, (there are about 15 in total). When i run the query on the other NS fwl it shows me all the policys. This firewall is also running an older firmware version. They are both NS2...

Juniper/Netscreen ScreenOS 5.3 Policy Counters

Here's the stuff I just finished up for getting policy counter data out of a Netscreen. There's only one graph template, for the total bytes, but you can see from there how to create other graphs. I'm using cacti 0.8.6i, and polling a Netscreen NS-500 running ScreenOS 5.3.x - so some of the OIDs may...

Nobody? Mods, would this do better in the "Help: General" category maybe? I figured someone would've chimed in with either an answer, or a "can't happen" by now :P

(Not to say I'm ungrateful for the help I've received otherwise here - one of the more useful forums I've found in a long time)

Graphing Mailgraph RRDs

I've seen the posts and suggestions on "integrating" Mailgraph with Cacti, many of which rely on changing the log watching script to just put the numbers somewhere that snmpd can get to them and pulling them off that way. However, I have a year's worth of data already in RRDs, and I'd like to keep a...

Let me know if you want any more testing done - since this system is for my own personal use and gratification, I don't mind installing test patches to see what it does :> I'm just starting to set this up at work, and already loving it - and looking forward to the graph exporting working properly, s...

Okay, that's got the graphs updating it seems. But the other issue - showing all the graphs on all the pages - still exists too. You can see it at http://www.srhuston.net/cacti ; the "Disk space" graphs should only be on the "Disk Statistics" leaf.

Well, the HTML pages were changed, because they now show the graphs. But it's not updating them any more. I removed the "host" graph from the tree so I'd know looking at the page that it was updated, but the graph pages still show it - the tree pages show it gone as it should be. Export log message ...
