So... could you get a small config that does the same thing with the same icon? And then I'll try that. Was this ever resolved? I'...

You misspelled GAUGE, which is probably what's causing the TARGET line to blow chunks.

It's most likely an SELinux problem after applying patches &/or the PIA. If so, you need to run the following command:
# chcon -R --reference=/var/www/html /var/www/html/cacti

(substitute /var/www/html with your web directory root, and /var/www/html/cacti with your path to cacti).

Relative positioning is Center-Of-Node to Center-Of-Node. Which is a good-news/bad-news thing when you have variable length text nodes. About the only "good" way I've found to maneuver things is trial & error, personally. You can always (temporarily) draw an outline on your node while you're laying ...

You need to change your LABEL in the template. It should read: LABEL {node:this:bandwidth_in:%0.1f} Your TARGETs fill two registers, bandwidth_in and bandwidth_out (in that order, left to right). So if you want to access values out of the TARGET (like you do here), then you need to refer to the valu...

If you have an intermediate device, why not put a node there for that device, and then links to/from the routers to the intermediate device, whose link statistics are based on the in/out traffic on the outside routers? Granted, the intermediate device is "dumb" and you can't pull stats of your own, ...

Updating to the newest php/php-gd/gd available on yum did not change the behavior. Updating to the latest kernel & restarting did not change the behavior - I still get my icons with whatever color they are in their native state.

Yes, USEICONSCALE is not coloring the icons, either with or without SET use_imagefilter 1 in the map's configuration. ETA: I thought there was a possibility that the coloring problem was being caused by my "black" base icon being too black, so I tried switching one of the icons to red. There is stil...

I didn't really have a reference - I didn't start doing most of my maps until I had DSStats up and running, since most of the data I wanted was an amalgamation of last and average on the same "map", which isn't really possible on RRD output, as I understand. In terms of time per map, your installati...

Howie > How did you set up your DSStats tables? If they're MyISAM tables, then they'd be disk-based anyway, so you're just switching one I/O operation (rrdtool) for another (mysql). Maybe converting them to MEMORY tables would help if you have sufficient RAM & UPS?
