Re: Weathermap future

Jeepers....I did miss that feature, probably because our weathermaps evolved over a longer time period. I think I'm going to start using weathermap groups today! Thanks!! :)

Re: Weathermap future

I played a bit with the php-weathermap 1.0.0dev cacti-plug version with cacti 1.2.4 on ubuntu 18.04. Looks like you have added some amazing new features Howie!! The idea of groups of weathermaps and the updated UI look really neat! The screens do make it clear that it is a development version. Hope ...

Re: Weathermap future

Cacti 1.0 was released in Jan 2017, and we have been waiting for a compatible version of weathermap since then. We have the sense that Howie has moved on to more lucrative and fun pursuits, which is totally understandable, and no one else is picking up the development. Very much agree weathermap is ...

Re: Weathermap future

Hi Howie, We are also curious about when a Cacti 1.x compatible version of Weathermap might be released. Looking at the "to-do" list https://github.com/howardjones/network-weathermap/projects/6 I had a thought. Don't know if it would apply to others, but we could live without the editor, updated doc...

Re: cacti 0.8.8f - graph tree empty

We are seeing this problem with Guest account, Ubuntu 16.04, cacti 0.8.8f. Would like to stick with v0.8.8f as that is supported by Ubuntu apt utilities. Also need weathermap and there isn't a stable release of that for cacti 1.x. If anyone has found a way to patch cacti 0.8.8f to fix this issue, I'...

Re: wrong date on csv export data file

I was able to resolve this by changing code in graph_xport.php at line 155 to the following: if (is_array($xport_array["data"])) { $derived_time = $xport_array["meta"]["start"]; foreach($xport_array["data"] as $row) { # $data = '"' . date("Y-m-d H:i:s", $row["timestamp"]) . '"'; $derived_time = $der...

Re: wrong date on csv export data file

Adding the -t option is not working for me. I don't see that as an option on rrdtool xport. Don't get any data, just header info when I add it, so I assume export is failing. Has anyone found a solution to this. This worked great on 0.8.8b Ubuntu version. We upgraded to 0.8.8f (supported by Ubuntu) ...

Re: Couldn't add a map file

That was it! Weathermaps are being generated! I've been struggling with this for awhile, so really appreciate your help! I am seeing some differences in what the weathermaps look like though. I'll investigate more. If I do find issues that aren't already reported, I assume you want them posted on gi...

Re: Couldn't add a map file

Hi Howie, I'm back on this project, and happy to report some progress. I see you updated the database-refactor branch. So, I tried installing the latest version. Under plugin management I can now install the weathermap plugin (couldn't do so before). The "Weathermaps" option appears on the console u...

Re: Couldn't add a map file

Thanks for quick response, Howie. Yes, configuration is using mysqli. Tried the current version you suggested, and when I went to the GUI to install the plugin, it appeared nothing happened. Just saw this in the apache2 access log, nothing in error log: 129.82.53.64 - - [25/May/2017:14:55:10 -0600] ...

Re: Couldn't add a map file

I'm running into what looks like the same issue with: Ubuntu 16.04 PHP 5.6.30-10 mysql 5.7.18 apache2.4.18-2 cacti 0.8.8f weathermap 0.98 When I try to install the plugin with the cacti GUI I see a browser screen with: Access denied for user ''@'localhost' (using password: NO) Errors in apache2 log:...

Re: Weathermap Pie Chart Issue

Getting the pies to change colors actually involved changes to the weathermap php code. I modified the php code to add the feature "AICONOUTLINECOLOR copy" on pie charts. I posted the changes to php I made earlier in this discussion. Perhaps Howie could incorporate them in the next weathermap releas...
