Re: Revert to old interface graphs

engeishi wrote:This is because you are using gandalf's Interface Traffic template.
You can revart original Interface Traffic template by re-importing original one.

If you lost the original template, pls let me know.
Are they part of the cacti .tgz package? Please post them here if not.

Revert to old interface graphs

Hi,

started using an old Cacti installation here again. Earlier the graph for interface traffic was changed to the one in attached picture. How do I revert this back to the original interface graph when I view the graphs?

Windows CPU Total

Hi, is there a SNMP template for showing CPU Total for Windows 2003/2008 servers? I have gone through the forums and found different solutions, one for 16core only, one that will not import on 0.8.7g etc, but none that was fully working 'as is'. With a mix of 4 to 16 CPU Cores it would be nice with ...

Best solution is to limit the graphs which you wish to export in a separate tree and assign it to the export user.
Could you give some more details? Just started looking at graph exporting, I can't see where I asssign a designated grap tree to an export user.

3Com switch - interface number missing

Hi, I am graphing a 3Com 7750 switch with Cacti 0.8.7b, all the graphs looks fine but they only say "3Com 7750 - Traffic - GigabitEthernet" without the switchport number. Attached 2 pictures, one of the graph and the other from config. Anything I need to add on switch or in cacti? This is my first n...

Advice up cacti/cactid upgrade

Hi,

currently I have a Debian Linux server with Cacti 0.8.6h and Cactid 0.8.6f. Havent touched it in a while and it is time for an upgrade.

What would be the best upgrade path? Cacti first, run for a day then upgrade cactid?

I would think that's your answer right there. You can get SQL stats via WMI though. I though WMI was for the ones who have Cacti running on Windows. Mine runs on FreeBSD... Am I wrong ? This is why I am thinking of moving my Cacti installation to Windows :( Although I can use nsclient client for WM...

Can recommend SNMP-informant (http://www.wtcs.org/informant/adv/overview.htm) if you are using SNMP on Windows, especially if you find it Windows stock SNMP to be less than reliable. The webpage also has an OID tree.

Re: Windows 2003 Domain Controller NTDS Stats

Cacti is a great piece of software. It's very helpful at work (and at home too!). I recently created an NTDS stats graph and decided to share it on this message board. Hopefully folks will find this useful... This uses WMI and it's only been run against Windows 2003 boxes. Is there any way, we coul...

ok , i will be try on win2k server.
in addition , I use win2003 for try, and SNMP Query was successful. But no data in graph. SNMP Information version is Std-1.4. Server OS is Win2003SP1
I have the same result, win2003 and the graphs are fine except the disk performance.

Monitoring server runs on FreeBSD. Client: Windows Server 2003
The default template graphs Win2003 memory through SNMP, but not Win2000.
