I guess that would depend on what operating system you're using and what SMTP server, post the details and someone will probably be able to help you.

I have a recollection that it's a problem with net-snmp, I believe it's unable to do multiple processors on linux.

Cleared poller cache, still the same.
I think lvm meant change the script and/or xml files to include the full path to perl.

Hi You don't need anything in the Trap settings for WIN2K3 (or any other Windows box) to get cacti working. I've had cacti working a WIN2K3 server for a while and the only setting I have is the Security Tab has a community name & Read-only and then an "Accept SNMP packets from any host", you could l...

Hi

Create an special account for CACTI and use that, not the admin account.

Yes, it will continue to update and you'll see no command windows and you don't need to be logged in for the poller to run under it's own account.

I don't know if this will help but the replacement for SNMP4TPC is SNMP-Informant from here www.snmp-informant.com - there's a free & paid-for version. If you can't get those counters from SNMP Informant then I think you'll have to use WMI with a perl script to get them. I'm afraid I'm still a novic...

IIRC, you need to stop Getif and delete the .index file then restart Getif with the new MIB in your MIBs folder.

It's your web server that needs to support HTTPS, all you need (if you have the support) is https://yourserver/cacti - it works fine. I am assuming that's what you were after?

Date format in Cacti log

Hi

Is there any chance we could have an option to change the date format in the cacti logfile? Not a major priority but it would be nice for us Europeans. :D
