SOLVED ! Great to come back from a week holiday and see no gaps :) What fixed it for me? Ok, it seems that I am getting somewhere .. after adding clock=tsc to my kernel line of grub.conf (of the VM itself) i am now not seeing any graps, I'm going to leave it for the weekend and report back. this image is with Spine as poller, at around 17:30 I changed to poller...
