Weird issue, this template and queries were working correctly after installation. I was able to create queries for real and virtual servers without problems. When I last went to use the templates, the real server names and virtual name parsing broke. Each new real server name is showing up as "10", ...

Thanks Rich! I removed the mrtg config script and have started the process of getting the content owner / rule info seperated. If there is interest, I would like to "co-author" a cacti template that calls this script in the same manner as the interface templates. I know that is incredibly vague. I a...

rrd's not updating

I have read all the forum messages regarding this topic. I have upgraded from 0.8.6c to 0.8.6d. Tried cmd.php, was using cactid. Symptoms: poller(s) run, but there is no update to the rrd files. I never see rrdtool get called when watching top at a 1 second interval. I just created a new device. Wit...

Cisco CSS Rosetta Stone

Anyone want to take a stab at moving this to php? Yes, it generates an MRTG config file, but... Look for the ASNname portion of the config script... Parses the rule owner and then the rule name... The code writer is our Senior Net Architect. This same method is used to get info from LanManager agent...

Graphing rrd's that are managed by a seperate process.

There are numerous posts regarding in-active datasources, but the answer seems unclear. I am in need of graphing information from rrd's that mrtg is creating/ updating. The application does not warrant the effort due to move it entirely to Cacti. I have the mrtg related scripts placing the rrd files...
