Need help tweaking spine
All, I am sometimes running into issues with spine, where it cannot process all hosts within a minute. I have 763 hosts with about 10.000 datasources. Typically, the statistics look like this: 06/18/2012 01:41:35 PM - SYSTEM STATS: Time:35.0389 Method:spine Processes:2 Threads:10 Hosts:763 HostsPerP...

Re: ERROR: SQL Cell Failed!, Error:'1064'
The table "colors" was accessed when the error occurs. That makes sense only when - either a graph is displayed - or a graph is exported It may happen, that you have a graph template that is referring to a color that does not exist anymore. R. Hmm, I tried to find the source of the error but no luc...

Re: ERROR: SQL Cell Failed!, Error:'1064'
No, you won't. We are enumerating the colors using mysql autoincrement. If that index does not exist any more, you will receive an SQL statement like your failing one. Find out, which graph produces that error. Then find the related graph template and verify all colors used therein. In case all are...

Re: ERROR: SQL Cell Failed!, Error:'1064'
I noticed that the errors come from CMDPHP while I am running spine: 05/15/2012 10:17:15 AM - SPINE: Poller[0] Host[1133] SNMP Result: Host did not respond to SNMP 05/15/2012 10:17:15 AM - SPINE: Poller[0] Host[519] DEBUG: The POPEN returned the following File Descriptor 6 05/15/2012 10:17:15 AM - S...

Re: Uninstall Mactrack - still errors in logfile?
I removed the table "mac_track_interface_graphs" as this one was still there but that didn't help. I did not see any left-behinds in the Plugin_* tables, here's what I have as tables: mysql> show tables; +---------------------------------------+ | Tables_in_cacti087g | +-----------------------------...

Re: ERROR: SQL Cell Failed!, Error:'1064'
The connection to the database is fine as I can get graphs and history. I am not sure when this started so I don't know what has been changed at that time. The problem is that the error message doesn't show any ID or something so I don't know where to start looking... Shall I disable the last added ...

Uninstall Mactrack - still errors in logfile?
All, I have moved Mactrack from our 'regular' cacti instance to a dedicated Mactrack server. Today I disabled/uninstalled Mactrack but I get lots of errors in the log: 05/03/2012 09:23:14 AM - CMDPHP: Poller[0] ERROR: SQL Assoc Failed!, Error:'1146', SQL:"SELECT * FROM mac_track_temp_ports WHERE ip_...

SNMP timeout when polling Cisco CSS
Guys, I have 2 Cisco loadbalancers in our environment that I monitor with cacti. There's a template that I use for this, and it has been working for quite some time but it stopped working 2 days ago for 1 device. This is the log entry: 04/18/2012 10:31:18 AM - SPINE: Poller[0] Host[1238] DS[26195] W...

Re: Syslog plugin not displaying complete message
As a workaround, try to add this code into around line 1290: if (sizeof($syslog_messages) > 0) { foreach ($syslog_messages as $syslog_message) { $syslog_message["message"] = htmlspecialchars($syslog_message["message"]); // <-- THIS LINE $title = ... But unfortunately it doesn't work on tooltip.. :(...

Syslog plugin not displaying complete message
All, I am having a last issue (I hope) before the syslog plugin is fully functional. I am logging with rsyslog, this is the entry in the database: | local6 | notice | 2012-03-01 | 13:06:32 | RASserver | Group <SSLPolicy> User <philip> IP <10.20.30.40> SVC Message: 16/NOTICE: The user has requested t...
