Re: "Current value" way to high

Just to make it more clear, I meant a earlier version of THOLD.
If I disable and deinstall THOLD and install/activate another (older) version, I'd assume thold cleans up after itself not leading to a problem ?

Re: "Current value" way to high

Thanks for the feedback.
Has this bug been introduced lately ? So is there any previous 1.x.x version known to dont have this ?
If so, which one and how to check out / download ?

Thanks
Chris

"Current value" way to high

Hi Guys, I am using Cacti 1.2.6 with thold 1.3.2 (tried zip file and git clone). When I create a treshold for snmp interface statistics in/out 64 bit counter the "current value" is populated with a value around 32tbit/s which is quite obvious wrong. Just try to figure out if we hit a bug here or I a...

Indexed SNMP query - multiple Indexes

Sorry, seems to be opened in the wrong topic. Please feel free to move. Hi, as I didn't want to hijack another older thread the same (unanswered) question. I am in need to create graphs for a device holding 2 indexes for the OID to query on Cacti 1.1.38. First index is an GROUP index iso.3.6.1.4.1....

Re: Another Cisco Class Map Statistics - no script server (u

For now we just need it for 2 devices, but more might be added, so an automatic way would be appreciated. I guess the |query_something| does not work ? I thought where is a way to grep the "cbqQOSwhatever" from the xml in a way but that most probably was more a wish then a well thought solution. Any...

Re: Another Cisco Class Map Statistics - no script server (u

Thanks, the templates are working properly for us using most actual Cacti 1.1.24.

Due to the "mess" with indexes I guess what you meant with "manual work" is e.g. adding proper the proper Class Map Name to the graph title ? Seems there is no easy way to automate this somehow ?

"Header" tree item for structured overviews

Hi gents, in order to have the possibility to split single graphs by some kind of a topic in an operations overview showing like 10 different types of graphs w/o mix them when change from 1 to 2 to 3 to 4 .. columns, I'd like to request a "header" tree item one can put in place like the old tree hea...

Re: [Cacti 1.0.4] Structured RRD Path - BUG

setfacl -d -m g::rw /var/www/html/cacti/rra This is nearly the perfect way to do it ;) I dont use structured RRD but I also failed cleaning up unused RRD files. Despite this is "fixed" in github, the most easy way for a setup like mine: - all cacti folders are set to user/group www-data (default ap...

Structured "operations view" ?

Hi Gents, before the new 1.x.x versions go into production, we still use plain old 0.8.x ones with "single pane view". I know it's obsolete since ... whenever but for our customers and ops I'm in need to create some "structured overviews". Some simple kind of a html <hr> would work for me, having a ...

Re: Ignoring LDAP settings ?

Just figured out it was my fault. LDAPS is using 636 while the TLS setting is "TLS over LDAP", means port 389.
I will close this bc of stupidity :)

Ignoring LDAP settings ?

<deleted stuff>

Final statement: Cacti does not forget settings, I forgot to do my homework and figure out that
LDAPS = SSL setting is using port 636
while
TLS over LDAP = TLS setting is using port 389

Re: Can't configure remote poller

I can't say for sure and the lack of documentation regarding this feature (either this or i wasnt able to find it) doenst help as well. My first installation of an additional poller broke cacti completetly. Second attempt was to grant access to local and remote on BOTH. When installing i set the pol...

Autom8 for devices w/o DNS entry - multiple community

Hi Gents, we monitor a lot of devices that don't have DNS entries, several hundreds which unfortunately change often in some of the networks, so a manual "host" file or dummy-dns would bring autom8 ad absurdum for us. Not quite sure if its just missed out on purpose or maybe not working as desired, ...
