Re: Nectar on Cacti 1.1.x?

That is correct, but it would still be nice if the "how to enable" would somewhere be documented on the "old" plugin page :)

Re: Nectar on Cacti 1.1.x?

THANKS!!!!

To bad your manual is nowhere actually documented in the official plug-in description.

Re: Cisco WLC 8.1 down, after I added additional graphs

I believe I've solved it. It seems to have been a Cache issue (although I already cleared it yesterday once already). For whatever reason the ID was connected to some old and since years deleted devices ?!? But only after I added new graphs to the existing and working devices. Anyway, with the comma...

Cisco WLC 8.1 down, after I added additional graphs

Hi All I have a weird issue with cacti 0.8.8h. I added some additional graphs to my Cisco WLC and now it shows as down under device and doesn't create the graphs. Uptime check is configured as SNMP Uptime and it also shows the correct uptime on the device view. I increased the SNMP Timeout without a...

Re: [HOWTO] Debug NaN's in your graphs

There is one point not covered in the Debug steps, wrong Data Templates -> select your template -> Associated RRA's settings. If the template has a "ds[wlc_5min_cpu].minimal_heartbeat = 120" (in this case Wlan Controller template) set, but the Associated RRA's is also including 1 Minute, this will o...

Create a graphic out of the ammount of found IP Addresses?

Hello Is it somehow possible to create a nice graphic out of the amount of the found IP addresses that mactrack has found on each run? Or do you know of an other way? It's a Cisco IOS 15.x based router and the greatest thing would be a graph which shows how many ARP entries per VLAN are currently (a...

A patch not successfull

Hi I've taken over an old Cacti installation and discovered that two patches in our 0.8.7g installation were missing. I have downloaded them and used the provided patch command. One worked, the second made an error. Here is the output from the console: :/var/www# patch -p1 -N < poller_interval.patch...

High traffic interfaces, is more than rrdtool tune needed?

Hi All We have a cacti 0.8.7g installation here on a Debian. I recently discovered that our 1Gig/s interfaces aren't showing more than a certain ammount of traffic/second. After some troubleshooting I discovered that ds[traffic_in].max and ds[traffic_out].max was set to low. I was using the 64bit co...

Lost interfacename in Graphs :(

Hi all I somehow managed to loose the interfacename in all my Graphs. I think it happend while importing a broken Cisco Nexus template. So all my Switches now show only [Switchname - Traffic] instead of [Switchname - Traffic - Interfacename]. If I open Graph Management, then I see them missing the n...

A big thank you, that did it :)
I tried to export the graph including dependencies, I hope this works for somebody else too?

Please note, I'm not sure if the max and min is actually working in the graphic, but the current should be right.
It's for a Silcon DP320E and a Symmetra 80K.

Ok much further now :) The graphic draws with the three lines. Now the lines are by factor 10 to high (that's what SNMP delivers). I added for the Graph Template under Unit Exponent Value a -1, but that didn't change the reading (deleted the assigned graph, waited some minutes and recreated it). Act...

I try to get the Ampere output off all 3 phases of the UPS, something none of the supplied templates/scripts can (or at least I couldn't find one that can do that). 2) damn, in that case I need to try 3). Back to the manual. What I try, is to get is the output of those three OID: .1.3.6.1.4.1.318.1....

Problem with custom Data Template OID

Hi I created a new Data Template for an APC UPS. That seems to have worked somewhat. I created 3 Data Source Items which each a Name, Internal Data Source Name, OID and saved it. I discovered now that each time I change the OID for one of those 3 Data Sources, it overwrites it for the other two :/ I...
