hi, you need to make sure you copied the vbs file to the \scripts folder in your cacti installation, after that, double check the input methods for the right command line. the errors you all are experiencing with the import could be due to a different cacti version, but at least it imports it. also ...

plustotal, There's no way (with my script) to receive email + SMS alerts - you need to switch. So if instead of pointing your cacti to send emails via SMTP:yourexchangeserver you need to put the cacti hostname itself, install SMTP on your cacti box (of course needs to be different machine than your ...

plustotal, you need to install SMTP service on your win32 cacti box. That won't send the messages to anywhere as you don't have to configure parameters for outbound, then the SMTP service will store the emails sent to that hostname (you can put localhost as your email server in cacti) in the Queue f...

Hi there, I've never got any problem when exporting importing this template, however always some corrections are always required in my case, like chaning gt with < or adding spaces between ">" and "<". Thanks :)

eddy, try to run wmiadap /f on your BES 2003 server (if it has that OS, if 2000, you need to run a different command to rebuild WMI I don't remember now...)

After that you should be able to see WMI perf counters for BES

Mike, you'll need to delete your graphs and create them again if any changes have been made to the data input method... I've personally checked that will fix your "space" problem ;)

I think I found the problem. The cscript appears not be working always with the //nologo option, so my recommendation is: open a shell cmd with your poller scheduled user and run: "cscript //nologo /S" - this will save the //nologo for future cscript uses with that user on your cacti machine - let m...

Strange... the space should be there. Anyway, have you checked that the scheduled task for the poller is being run with a privileged user? Try to run from the cmd line with the scheduled task user... if working then try to re-check once more for that space - bear in mind that if you add the space on...

Mike, I recommend that you just import the xml as is, then goto the input methods and check that yours looks this way:

cscript <nologo> <path_cacti>/scripts/Win32_Services.vbs <hostname> <servicename>

Hi! Does anybody know how to make threshold send a graph for the "last 4h" (for example) in the email attachment instead of "last day" When an alarm raise you will not see the change in the graph in the last day until some minutes more pass, so... that's the cause of my requirement ;) Thanks thanks ...
