No problem Jukke. Did the instructions help you get everything installed? Gandalf, I just now saw your reply, not sure how I missed it before. I'll get the document converted to HTML and send it to you (hopefully) this week.

Here is the file I turned in for a class project last year. I basically went by Installing Cacti on Solaris HOWTO document and had to update/change stuff so that it worked on my Solaris box.

I know when I installed Cacti on Solaris 9 last year for a last project, I mostly went by the Solaris install document from the website with some minor changes. I had to document all my steps for the project, so I'll see if I can find that document again

Yes, it has to do with the time span and how it's averaged. Like spacelobers said, daily is 5 min average, weekly is 30 min average and monthly is 2 hour average.

Looks correct to me. The "maximum" shows you the highest point on the graph you are currently viewing. If you change the date range, it will find the maximum point for those new dates.

Try the one labeled Cisco Router and see if that works. If that doesn't work, I know there is a PIX template someone uploaded to the "Scripts and Templates" forum.

You can name the database whatever you want. Double check your Cacti's include/config.php to tell it the database name, username and password you picked.

Seeing as how your problem doesn't deal with the "mounted partitions" issue I'm having, you'd probably need to open your own bug report or see if one of the developers will be able to help you on the forum.

basf_audio, were you also trying to graph "mounted partitions" on a Windows server? The SQL error looks similar to mine but also additional "SELECT COUNT(*) FROM " ones.

I opened a bug report here, I'm not sure if they'll want you to add to mine or open up one of your own.
