Re: Graphs - Search criteria stored in session data

Noname, Thanks for your responses, but making a user login several times to run several windows is an awkward workaround for a simpler request. The filter syntax is all there and useable in the URL. My question was is it possible to force cacti to use search criteria in the url, as opposed to it usi...

Re: Graphs - Search criteria stored in session data

Noname, Thanks for the informative response. I did test with IE8 (iexplore.exe launched from command line both times) and found the IE behavior identical to that described for firefox, where the search criteria is persistent between browser windows. Same behavior for chrome. It all makes plenty of s...

Re: IP address management

We use NetDoT. Not a cacti plugin, but an excellent Network Documentation
Tool with a fairly extensive Ipam.

Graphs - Search criteria stored in session data

All, I'm having a bit of trouble with search criteria shared between browser windows. My scenario is where i am running two instances of my favorite browser. I Search for BIGFOOT in Browser-A -- I Search for NESSIE in Browser-B Back on Browser-A , When they refresh, I am presented with the search re...

Re: CaMM (Cacti Message Management) plugin v1.6.7 2010-08-26

Ref: My last sentence . - The new feature should be enabled/disabled via radio buttons in the admin interface similar to snmptt and syslog so it doesn't disrupt any established workflows. (who knows what proceedures others use) I was trying to suggest that for those that dont want to use the Traps_h...

Regarding ACK Traps in CAMM

@lasylve .. I am very much interested in seeing ack_traps and trap_history added to CAMM.. It will extremely well for Network Operations Center type folks. Suggestions: - The new feature should be enabled/disabled via radio buttons in the admin interface similar to snmptt and syslog so it doesn't di...

Thold - Feature Suggestion - UserPriv for Enable/Disable

I ask Network Ops staff to disable thresholds once the alarms have been responded to, but I don't really want them to be able to edit the params of a threshold. I was thinking that making "Enable/Disable Threshold" a separate Realm Permission would be handy. This way an op can turn off and on a thre...

Re: Superlinks Problem

I'm still at an impasse with superlinks v0.8 on cacti version 0.8.7g as well .. I've tried the two fixes listed in this thread and have found no joy. I'm unsure how to try the css fix. exactly where does one place the style declaration? Has anyone figured out exactly what is going on with this probl...

Having Trouble creating a new data query

I've created a local mysql database that is recording all of my qos stats data for the enterprise, and am now creating a few cacti graphs. I've written a KSH shell script to drive a data query which does "index/query/get" operations. I created data query/template/graph template/association following...
