Problem

Hi, those template looks great but I must confess that I couldn't make them work. First I discovered that with cactid the full perl path should be provided in the xml files (query-netapp-ontapsdk-lun.xml..) I fixed this but I keep getting a partial results error : 06/11/2008 12:22:05 AM - CACTID: Po...

Graph legends disappear after upgrade to 0.8.7a

Hi,
I upgraded from 0.8.6j to 0.8.7a (Linux plateform).
Since then none of my graphs have any legend or GPRINT whatsoever, but the debug mode says "RDDTool says Ok"

Here is an example (see below)

Thanks in advance for any help !

Hi Pierre, Do you use the Create->New Graph menu on the left handside of the screen ? If not, have a try. This Cache Hit Ratio template works exactly the same way the others do, so if you get "Application - Oracle - Block Get Rate", or "Application - Oracle - Physical Access" working, you 'should' a...

Yes, of course without the data queries, it won't work :D. Sorry I thought it was exported via the Export command. NetMap : the files

Hi, Here are the files required to have what I called NetMap running. All the tests I have made where with cacti 0.8.6d, I don't know if it could work with others. IMPORTANT : this is still under development. Backup all your $cactiroot and your cacti mysql db before using these files. first you must...

Hi, I have made a tab based on the threshold tab, to be able to have a supervision console (PATROL like), with the thesholds alerts on. So what I did is, first, modify the graph_tree and graph_tree_item tables to allow the addition of an icon. The I added a tab (like the threshold tab) that I named ...

Could you be a bit more precise about the problem you have with the index type and Index value, I can't figure out where you need to fill this (screenshot welcome ;) ).

kevinchang:

Hi, Yes indeed Wait is short for I/O Wait. About the timeticks, it means that you dont get a percentage but a number of ticks per seconds. This is the way the OS gives it. To get a percentage, just make a CDEF that makes the division of the measurement (WAIT, IDLE, KERNEL or USER) by the <total all ...

Customize Tree

Hi, For large trees, not having colors make it difficult to read so I modified a bit one of the treeview js : $cacti_root/include /treeview/ftiens4.js line 164 : it was docW = docW + this.desc + "</a>" I modified it into docW = docW + "<SPAN class='level"+this.level+"'>"+this.desc + "</span></a>" Th...

Instead of setting the Y-axis scale.
Create a CDEF that multiplies the Current-data-rouce-item by zero.
Then apply the CDEF to the data you don't want to graph.
Hence you still can use auto scaling, which is handy if what you graph is not a percentage but a rate for example
