Hi Gandalf, Is a new host and a fresh query, but reindexing doesn't help either :( The only thing i could think of was to put a wrapper around it to present something back to cacti

hi all, i've been using a modified cisco envmon to monitor my temperatures. im using the |query_TempStatusDescr| to retrieve the description for the sensor and use it in graph titles. it's been working great on all platforms, until i came across the cisco 2911. i have discovered that although it ret...

There are currently two different answers to the same problem. Some users have their problems fixed, some don't. I hope to work at least with one user to get it solved. Please post the whole failing rrdtool graph statement and rrdtool info for the rrd file used to help me debug it Reinhard understo...

This one should be fixed by now. Will be published with next bugfix release. Reinhard what release is the fix incorporated into? i have just rolled out a new box running cacti 0.8.7b & rrdtool 1.2.23 with the updated functions.php and am hitting this error when attempting to use LAST in a graph. i ...

hehe... this is perhaps an ugly hack but it might work try: cdef=CURRENT_DATA_SOURCE,0,*,CURRENT_GRAPH_MAXIMUM_VALUE,0.88,*+ What this does is take the current data source times 0 (always equal to 0) and adds the graph maximum * 0.88 (88%). So it gives you the value you want and includes a data sou...

does CURRENT_GRAPH_MAXIMUM_VALUE even work in a cdef?

im curious to hear from anyone who actually has CURRENT_GRAPH_MAXIMUM_VALUE or working properly within a cdef? all i want to do is to graph a straight line at 88% of the graph upper limit so we can see where the true ceiling is once we have factored in the atm cell tax. i would have thought i just c...

how to graph a line at a % of the graph upper limit?

hi all, when we add atm interfaces and scale them to their provisioned bandwidth we dont get a true representation of usable bandwidth due to atm cell tax which is about 12%. so all i want to do is to graph a straight line at 88% of the graph upper limit so we can see where the true ceiling is once ...

Okay, so I've had this template running for awhile under h and I've never gotten any data back. If I run an snmpwalk against the router for the OID in the template I get a response. However I've noticed that the OID for both sessions and tunnels (atleast in mine) are the same OID. addressing this o...

Fixed it. For some reason the snmd oid values were not entered in the database. I mannually entered them via phpmyadmin. for example for the 5min cpu: UPDATE `poller_item` SET `arg1` = '.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.1.58.0' WHERE `local_data_id` =120 AND CONVERT( `rrd_name` USING utf8 ) = '5min_cpu' LIMIT 1 ; D...
