Aggregate 0.73 does not allow access to Color templates

Guys (especially @gandalf), I couldn't find a link to bug submission in any of the Aggregate documentation. My issue is that after upgrading my Aggregate installation from 0.70B2 to 0.73, not only did I lose all of my previous Color Templates, but I'm no longer able to create new color templates or ...

That worked! Excellent! Thanks! For the record, I did not apply the setup.php file from SVN because the diff included more than the 2 functions that needed to be changed and I couldn't risk breaking our thold functionality. I manually changed the files. I've uploaded the new thold/setup.php file in ...

Thanks. Any help would be appreciated. I know you guys are busy. I'm not a huge fan of the PIA2.x -- his has caused us a number of issues in migrating amongst what should be minor revisions in cacti 0.8.x. It was quite a shock to see that a major revision change was required for PIA when we did a mi...

Disabling other plugins is not a solution, even if that "fixes" the issue. My company is completely reliant upon the thold plugin, but we have a requirement to create aggregate graphs as well. Is there some version of aggregate (or thold for that matter) that can happily co-exist with the other? I'v...

Cygwin is a GNU utility that runs on windows (it allows you to run a small Linux-like environment on your Windows system). In order to get my scripts to work under Windows, you're going to need to install it. I wouldn't know where to begin writing something in Windows that does what my bash script d...

This is only for Linux, but the concept is pretty basic and it *should* run under cygwin, though I've not tested it there. Obviously, your copy method would have to change from SCP to a standard windows copy, and you'd have to replace all the /unix/file/paths to \\\\windows\\file\\paths (under cygwi...

1. No, leave your scheduled task at 5 minutes. Cacti will schedule the polls on its own based on the poller interval setting. You don't need to change anything further here. 2. Even though you're set with Cron at 5 and Polling Interval at 1, you'll still see polls every one minute in the log file if...

Hey Gavin. I have some answers for you. 1. Leave your cron at 5 minutes. In your Poller Settings you have an option for cron interval and polling interval. Set cron interval to 5 and polling interval to 1. 2. There are a lot of ways to check that your new device is being polled every minute. You can...

@IT: These RRA settings need to be adjusted slightly. I'm assuming you're doing this work in a development or pre-production environment? Here's how I'd set it and why: Name / Steps / Rows / Timespan Hourly / 1 / 500 / 14400 (This is fine) Daily / 5 / 600 / 86400 (Adjust your steps since you're poll...

No, sorry. No chance to change step size using rrdtool tune or stuff. Using official stuff only, it is NOT POSSIBLE to convert a 5 min absed rrd file to 1 min based. If you don't trust me  please as at rrdtool-users mailing list Reinhard Guys, I have written a script that reformats old 5 minu...

Thanks for that Gandalf, that worked well for me too. New Question: Let's say one had 600 custom Graph Templates and 4500 unique graphs. How would one in such an environment add the Min to subset of those existing legends? It should be noted that some of these graphs may only have 1 plotted data sou...

Hey Cigamit, Thanks for the reply. The thresholds were put in place initially from a template, but when I adjust the templates after they've been applied, those changes do not propagate. I'm running the most recent version of THOLD -- v 0.3.9. Also, a few of the features from older versions of THOLD...

I also have the same issue. THOLD appears to default to using the first graph created against a data source (or possibly the lowest numbered DS ID?). I have a few custom Data Templates which hold a number of Data Sources, and I cannot get THOLD to send the appropriate graph for certain thresholds. C...

amc-james You should be able to do this by adjusting the graph template for your traffic graphs. For all of your Inbound traffic Line/Area Items, use the Make Stack Negative CDEF (definition is cdef=CURRENT_DATA_SOURCE,-1,*). Just don't apply same to your Legend Settings and your graph should correc...

augustobsb,
I've had similar issues in the past. I got around them by turning display_errors=Off in your php.ini. That may or may not work, but it's helped me in the past.

Don't forget to restart apache after you've changed php.ini.
