Re: 28-port switch showing all connections on 75th port?

I got it! From one of the Cisco's MIB readmes: (...) In SG300 device family: The ports are mapped to ifIndex 49 and above. Therefore, port GE1 is mapped to ifIndex 49, port GE2 is mapped to ifIndex 50 etc. (...) Example 3: SG300-28 ------------------- ------------------------------------------------...

Re: Spine poller random "Empty result"

Update:

I reduced amount of Spine threads to 2 and amount of errors dropped several of times but still occur - 37 errors in 18 hours (pulling per 5 minutes). Could it be that Spine threads are colliding while trying to access pearl script at the same time?

Spine poller random "Empty result"

Hello

My problem started when I (finally) swiched from cmd.php to Spine. I started to get random "empty results" from pooler.

Any idea why?

Ubuntu 12.04 LTS
Cacti 0.8.8a
Spine 0.8.8a (-rwsr-xr-x root root, perl-suid is not available in Ubuntu 12.04)

28-port switch showing all connections on 75th port?

Hello I have very weird problem. I have several different switches in my network. All seem to work fine except the Cisco ones. They all seem to show that most/all network hardware is connected to some port 75th. The catch is that all Cisco switches have only 28 ports! Further more I can't imagine ha...

Re: Mactrack newbie problem

Big thanks!!!

I copied your config to my HP switch and it works! In the meantime I managed to get all other switches on my network to work except Cisco switches (and HP till now). Well Cisco switches work but don't show any active MACs :( I will try to handle it from here. Again thanks!

Mactrack newbie problem

Hello I am using cacti for some time now and decided to add the Mactrack plugin to it. Unfortunately I have a trouble. The Mactrack doesn't seem to work. Cacti Log states that: MACTRACK: Poller[0] WARNING: SITE: M(cut), IP: 192.168.1.(cut), TYPE: ProCurve J9022A Switch 2810-48G, revisio, ERROR: Devi...

Re: cmdphp and spine running together?

CMDPHP only is the default "slot" for logging messages. In case it would show up in SYSTEM STATS messages, I would suppose that two pollers are running in parallel, e.g. from different crontabs R. Hmm... So I understand that SPINE is running fine but sends log messages through CMDPHP which _is_ nor...

cmdphp and spine running together?

Hello I run small cacti server with about 50 SNMP clients. Recently to reduce network traffic I decided to move to spine poller, which I did through the settings menu. The problem is that after entering cacti log I found this: 11/30/2012 01:30:31 PM - SYSTEM STATS: Time:28.6401 Method:spine Processe...
