Cacti Template for GEIST EM40/DPS25 PDU

The data is pulled form a script I wrote to get data via HTTP and insert it into an RRD, https://null.53bits.co.uk/index.php?page=feed-from-bash-http The XML export is located here, https://null.53bits.co.uk/uploads/networking/snmp-rrd/cacti_graph_template__em40-pdu_-_per_socket_amps.xml The output ...

Re: Are all Cacti graphs "wrong" by default?

OK this mystery has been solved on the Cacti mailing list, the thread is here; http://oss.oetiker.ch/rrdtool/forum.en. ... -td7581547

I am experiancing consolidation at the point of drawing the data onto the graph, this is a 2nd stage of consolidation as well as RRD storage consolidation.

Re: Are all Cacti graphs "wrong" by default?

Thanks for the response paulgevers, I don't think consolidation is the problem here. I am keeping data for 2 years and getting data from within the last few months, unless I have misunderstoond something? If so, can you explain? Presumably when Cacti pulls data from an SNMP host the value pulled goe...

Cacti 95th value seems to be wrong? Checked by hand.

Cacti is generating the following graph with a 95th percentile value of 6.04Mbps; http://i.imgur.com/4K4waiz.png I am generating data from the same data source by hand (using RRDTools on the command line, and a PHP script to calculate the 95th percentile value for me). I have produced the following ...

Re: Appreciation

I would like to say a big thank you to all the devs, contributors, donators and community members. I have had help prior to this post on several occasion via the mailing list, I'm new to the forums. I think Cacti is a great tool/platform and enjoy using it a lot. I will be enquiring about a donation...

Are all Cacti graphs "wrong" by default?

Hi all, I'm sure many of you use Cacti to monitoring network traffic (server/router/switch/firewall interface speeds). I have a problem with Cacti which I assume everyone has? When you enable debugging for a graph to see the RRD command used to generate that graph you will see something like; DEF:a=...
