Re: Indexed Script Query

Solved it, not sure why or how because I just tried several different things. Created a new data input method as the crmweb_cacti.sh script with all the possible inputs and input type set to Script/Query (screenshot below). Set the data input method on both data templates to the newly created one. S...

Re: Monitoring OF PPPOE Users

By the way, the correct way to do this would be via the RADIUS server's accounting module, that's what it's there for. :)

Re: Cacti script_server index invocation

This is based on my personal knowledge, I'm no Cacti dev. From my understanding, the query function is called when the re-index method is triggered. You get to choose this when you associate a data query to a device. The default is "Uptime goes backwards". For stuff that gather application level dat...

Can you try attaching your screenshot to your forum message?
That website is blocked by my company's web proxy.

Re: Data Source (traffic out) problem

Go into graph templates and look for the one shown in your screenshot: Inteface - Traffic (bits/sec) Under the Graph Item Inputs section you should make sure you have two datasources - inbound and outbound. Also, above that section, under graph items, you should make sure that there are associations...

Re: sum of inbound and outbound traffic

The creation of CDEFs is done via the CDEF page under Graph Management.
The order must be
[Data Source 1]
[Data Source 2]
+ or -
After that is done, you can go into your graph template, go into the correct graph item(s) and apply your created CDEF in the CDEF field.

Re: Please Help me! Something wrong on the graphic

Hi, Obviously something changed during the period of time which is empty in the graphs. This could be a result of many things: - Communication trouble between Cacti server and your Cisco device - Cisco device configuration being fiddled with - Cacti configuration being fiddled with - Operating syste...

Re: polar type

Start by providing more details: - What is happening? - How are you trying to change the poller type to spine? - What do you see? - Technical details of your system (any relevant problems in it's history?) - Is there an error message? Also if you fix your English (you can use translate.google.com) p...

Indexed Script Query

Hello, I'm running CactiEZ 0.8.8a, my goal is to retrieve a list of indexed values from a remote CRM server using SSH and graph them - while graphs are not working at all, it does look like I have 95% of it working. The scripts: Due to the apache user's inability to SSH in a script (I assume this is...

Re: SNMP query for Cisco Nexus 5000 temperature

Hi, Just for documentation purposes, there is a tiny almost hidden  checkbox under the associated graph template under the data query. It's on the rightmost area of the screen and is barely noticeable, I think it's for activating the data source template <-> graph template association. For any...

SNMP query for Cisco Nexus 5000 temperature

Hi, This is my second SNMP query, I've created the following: XML Data template Graph template SNMP query (associated with all of the above) I've added the query to one of my hosts (a Cisco Nexus 5K obviously), I've looked at the verbose query and it seems fine - indexes getting parsed correctly, no...

I just edited [cacti dir]/lib/poller.php to copy the poller_output rows into another table on my DB for enrichment/postprocessing.

Re: How to adjust interval ?

You can change the poller interval in the settings page, it's under the poller tab. But be warned, changing the poller interval can have bad consequences (ie all graphs will be empty) if you don't know what you're doing. Like cigamit said (and like he taught me just a week ago :)), it will require c...
